2015 has been filled with such a great variety of gigs with many, many fabulous musicians around the BHM area. One of the highlights of the year so far was the Gip's Place gig in Bessemer, AL on Saturday, May 30th. For those who don't know about Gip's, well....it's an authentic juke joint that's been hosting musicians by Henry Gipson ("Mr. Gip") since 1952 (not a typo)!!!!!! Here are some awesome pics from that night taken by the lovely and talented Margaret Walter-Wilson, who just happened to sit-in with The Sassy Brown Band that night for her Gip's Place debut.
